I served on a board in Dallas for 10 years with an organization that educated families and communities regarding the primary and secondary harmful effects of porn and sexually oriented businesses. The Center for Decency was absorbed by a national organization, The National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families www.nationalcoalition.org. A new ministry was born from some contacts we made during those 10 years and it is still going strong, New Friends, New Life www.newfriendsnewlife.org. NFNL reaches out to women in the DFW area who are ready/willing to leave the sexually oriented businesses that are prolific in the metroplex. Our board President was Henry Rogers (chaplain at Interstate Batteries) and he authored The Silent War, a book about ministering to those caught in the deception of pornography.
